I currently live in the Greater Seattle Area. I started digital photography four years ago, but more recently I learned how to shoot, develop and enlarge black and white 35mm and 120 film.
I am in the process of applying to art schools, as I am going into my senior year of high school. I look forward to developing new skills, refining my old ones and solidifying how I understand myself as a photographer, artist, and citizen of the world. During my senior year, I will continue film and digital photography as well as trying new medias--I will be taking ceramics classes and drawing at the local community college.
I use the Olympus E-420 DSLR, Ricoh KR-5 Super 35mm Manual SLR, Holga, Supersampler, and Underwater Film cameras.
Lately, I have been interested in photographing people who appear to be floating, I enjoy this because to me, it feels like the people who I photograph are caught in a moment, with out a specific feeling or intention and they seem to almost archive one specific second of time.
